Your Questions Answered About Buying Tickets and Seating

Are you new to using a ticket site to buy tickets for the events you want to attend? My name is Ira Zoot, and I’ve owned and operated CRAZYTICKETS.COM as well as other secondary market ticketing sites. Here are some tips to help you get the right tickets—whether it’s for a sporting event, concert, or a night at the theater.

How to Buy Tickets on CRAZYTICKETS.COM

  1. Visit CRAZYTICKETS.COM
Start by heading over to CRAZYTICKETS.COM. If you don’t see your event listed on the homepage, no problem! Just use the search box at the top of the page—enter the event name and click the search button. You’ll get a list of all the available dates, venues, and cities for that event.
  2. Select Your Event
Find the event date you’re interested in and click “Available Tickets.” This will take you to a page that shows all available tickets in real-time, along with an interactive venue map or seating chart.
  3. Check the Venue Map
If you’re unsure about which section to choose, the venue map is your best guide. It shows all seating areas, such as main floor seats, premium and club boxes, general admission areas, grandstands, orchestra seating, and bleachers.
  4. Choose Your Tickets
Once you’ve decided on the seating area, check the available tickets listed on the left-hand side of the page. You can sort by price, seat location, or even by special VIP packages and meet-and-greet options. Use the control panel at the top of the inventory list to sort tickets according to your preference. If the venue map is interactive, you can click on a section to view available tickets in that section.
  5. Finalize Your Purchase
After selecting your tickets, you’ll be taken to the order form to complete your purchase. Enjoy the event!

Common Questions We Get About Tickets

Question: I see different prices for tickets in the same section and row. Are the more expensive tickets better?

Answer: No, just because a ticket is higher priced doesn’t mean it’s better than a lower-priced one in the same section and row. Prices can vary based on acquisition costs and perceived market value set by different brokers. If you see a lower price, go for it—it’ll give you the same experience and leave you with extra cash for food and drinks!

Question: Why can’t you tell me the seat numbers?

Answer: Great question! Many tickets come from season ticket holders or fan club members, and venues or teams don’t always approve of reselling. To protect their season ticket packages, sellers may not display the exact seat numbers. But rest assured, your seats will always be together unless otherwise noted. If you really need to know the seat numbers, call us—we may be able to help.

Question: What does “obstructed view” mean?

Answer: “Obstructed view” means something will block part of your view, like a post, overhang, or scoreboard. For concerts, it might mean you’re seated too far to the side to fully see the performers. These seats are usually cheaper, and if you’re the kind of person who likes to move around during the show, they can be a good deal!

Question: I see parking passes listed with the tickets. Do they get me into the event?

Answer: No, parking passes only get you access to the parking lot, not the event itself. Be sure to check that you’re purchasing event tickets—not just parking passes—before completing your order.

VIP Packages, Meet-and-Greets, and More

Question: What’s included with a VIP Package, Meet-and-Greet, or Club Level ticket?

Answer: VIP packages vary depending on the artist or team, but they typically include:

  • Reserved seating within the first 10-15 rows.
  • A meet-and-greet with the performer or team.
  • Personal photographs with the artist or team.
  • Exclusive merchandise and VIP parking.
  • Pre- or post-show parties with food and drinks.
  • VIP venue access for quick entry and exit.

Always check the listing or call us to confirm what’s included!

More Common Questions

Question: What does “General Admission” or “Lawn Seats” mean?

Answer: Both General Admission (GA) and Lawn Seats mean seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. It’s a good idea to arrive early and claim your spot. Lawn seats typically allow you to bring blankets or lawn chairs for a laid-back experience.

Question: What does “Market Value” mean?

Answer: “Market Value” refers to the price set by demand for the event, regardless of face value. It reflects what buyers are willing to pay based on supply and demand. At CRAZYTICKETS.COM, tickets are listed by brokers, and prices are determined by the market conditions at the time.

Service Fees and Ticket Types

Question: What is a “Service Fee”?

Answer: Service fees cover the cost of processing and handling your order. These fees are standard across ticket markets and usually range from 25-35%. CRAZYTICKETS.COM keeps service fees among the lowest in the industry, currently at 20%.

Question: What are “Hard Tickets” and “E-Tickets”?

Answer: “Hard Tickets” are the traditional printed tickets with security features like holograms. “E-Tickets” are electronic tickets emailed to you in PDF format. Both types are valid and can be scanned at the gate for entry.

Final Thoughts on Seating

Where you sit really depends on your personal preferences and the type of event you’re attending.

  • Concerts: If you want to be close to the performers and don’t mind standing, front-row tickets are great. For a more relaxed experience, seats on the side provide excellent sound and sightlines without the crowd intensity.
  • Theater: Sitting too close to the stage might strain your neck. Seats 10 rows back or in an upper tier provide a more comfortable view of the whole stage.
  • Sports: Consider where you’ll have the best view of the action. Do you want to sit on your team’s side or be closer to the field? Check the seating charts for the best options.
